Turn-key Construction of self-support towers, guyed towers, monopoles, stealth poles, and backup generation systems.

Wireless construction projects typically require a broad set of construction trades. In order to expedite delivery, contractors need to rely on a qualified team to complete each and every task. Quest Tower's experience and resources enable us to deliver a 100%-completed product, on time, every time. We've erected over a thousand towers over the years and as the technology has changed, we've evolved with it.

The construction of towers and communication sites can be tricky. Zoning and planning, can be a challenging process for some systems. Quest Tower is well-versed in the particular needs of city planning departments. Our experience building in urban areas, as well as rural areas, has encountered many hurdles over the years. Wireless-specific codes and ordinances that affect each phase of a project can slow it to a crawl if not stop it all-together. Coordination with local, municipal or state officials is vital to maintaining a schedule and if problems do arise, you can be assured Quest Tower will correct them in a timely manner.

If your current contractor is not producing to your specifications or your system is just not performing like it should, call us, we will be happy to assess the situation and get you online as soon as possible. Quest Tower's crew leaders and members are not only professional tower erectors certified by Comtrain in Tower Climbing, Safety and Rescue, but they also possess top-quality skills in several construction trades. In addition to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Quest Tower adheres to guidelines set forth in the National Association of Tower Erector's Accident Prevention, Safety and Health Program.

We work with a variety of manufacturers and vendors of high-quality towers, antennas and accessories. Rohn Industries, Pirod, Sabre, American Tower, Magnum Towers, Andrews, RFS, Radiowave, PPC, Dragonwave, E-band, Cielo, Tessco, Talley, Hutton Communications, Valmont Microflect, Flash Technology, Aviat (Harris-Stratex), and Alcatel-Lucent, to name a few. A special thanks goes out to all the specialized hardware stores and their employees across the country!!

Structure reinforcement and demolition.

From coast-to-coast, communication towers are showing signs of aging; Mother Nature is taking her toll on the steel itself and the race to occupy already limited tower space is getting creative. Perhaps you are looking to accommodate additional carriers on your tower or maybe a recent inspection has found severe deterioration. Quest Tower is familiar with several methods of tower and rooftop steel reinforcement and would be happy to discuss your options.

Wind, rain, cold, and salt; all play a role in weakening steel structures. The average life span of a galvanized, 300-foot guyed tower is around 70 years. With a large number of cellular towers approaching 30 years of use, some over 50 years old, inspections of tower steel and guy wire anchors are showing severe signs of corrosion. While some towers may require replacing or installing additional bracing and/or guy wires, other older structures may need to be decommissioned altogether. As an owner, you definitely don't want that kind of risk tarnishing your portfolio.

Quest Tower has performed many types of tower reinforcement, including new tower installation. We can transfer existing equipment to the new site, dismantle, and dispose of the old tower with little-to-no difficulty. Technical problems arise when two structures are within a short distance apart, or the tower itself is too weak to safely deconstruct it. Many tower demolition projects have gone horribly wrong in this situation. We avoid this result by working with a range of specialists and thoroughly analyzing the best and worst-case scenarios.

Modifications that require certified welders are most common. Bolts, cross-bracing, splices, anchor points, and every metal contact point deteriorates over time and must be reinforced or replaced. Only certified welders can complete this work; we contract with the best in the business. Other requests include monopole tower reinforcement, which requires a lot of drilling and torquing, and monopole base-plate reinforcement.

If you require a task of this nature completed on your tower, please contact us today to schedule a meeting or conference call.

Cellular, broadcast, and microwave antenna and line installation.

The core of RF technology lies within the transmission and/or reception of radio waves. If the infrastructure is not 100%, RF signals can lose their effectiveness in a hurry. High-quality craftsmanship can help prevent signal deterioration over the years.

Quest Tower has installed cellular, microwave and broadcast antennas and transmission lines on just about every type of structure you can imagine: water tanks, wind mills, sugar and grain silos, billboards and street light poles, to name a few. Whether you require installation of a new build or a co-located site, you can be confident of the knowledge and experience of the team at Quest Tower.

Whether you are planning to build a 6-GHz, fully redundant network ring or a simple 11 or 24-Ghz unlicensed spur, we have the knowledge and training to build a system that will last many years. Our crews are trained by manufacturers to install their products correctly. Andrews Corporation, RFS Cablewave, PPC, and Eupen Cable, Inc. have conducted training classes at our office in Clarkesville, Georgia. We also have Level 3-certified Alcatel/Lucent microwave technicians in our workforce that can troubleshoot your existing microwave link or install a new one. In addition, several of our employees have experience installing Ceragon, Dragonwave, E-band, and Cielo microwave systems. As our client base has grown over the years, so has our breadth of knowledge and training.

Site inspections and line-testing.

When submitting your scope of work, including time frame for completion, we will tailor a program to fit your specific requirements. We are fully capable of providing the detailed site analysis you need, anywhere in the country, and packaged in a format that's easy to read. Pricing varies according to the type of work, but our fees are competitive and worth every penny.

Anritsu / Sitemaster Certifications are held by several key personnel at Quest Tower. We're very familiar with troubleshooting lines and antennas. This service can also be included in your Site Inspection/Maintenance Program, but we are often utilized as a third-party tester to other contractors. Quest Tower is also experienced with PIM testing, or Passive Intermodulation, used by some carriers to test the quality of craftsmanship and 100% system integrity. We can provide as much detail as necessary and in most cases correct the issues at test-time.

Year-round site maintenance.

Quest Tower personnel are trained and/or certified to perform a wide range of tower services. Large or small, our clients can expect a high degree of professionalism and attentiveness on every project completed by Quest Tower. Quest Tower's scope of work now extends beyond communication towers. As the demand for economically-viable renewable energy has grown, small and commercial-scale wind turbines have become increasingly popular. Ranging in capacity from 1.5 kilowatts to over 1.5 mega-watts, wind turbines can accommodate individual homeowners and big business alike. Since turbine towers require very similar construction methods, they are now part of our repertoire.
